Yesterday was shit, but nobody wants to hear about it. Today, however, was awesome. I got a 39/40 on the National Latin Exam (which translates into a Nice Big Gold Shiny at some point in the near future), I got called out of Latin to go down to Guidance, where I discovered that I'm now a semi-semi-finalist for the National Merit Scholarship Thingy, we had a nice discussion of evil in AP Lang (which culminated in about half the class probably thinking I'm a psycho killer just waiting to happen), and we had a Burning Tornado Drill during Lang. What is a Burning Tornado Drill, you ask? Why, it's Fairfax County's half-assed timesaving measure to get rid of those pesky required fire and tornado drills in one fell swoop. Devious. Lunch was excellent also (although my body hates me now - four bread rolls and some cake Kristen made in Gourmet Foods may be delicious, but not exactly the best thing to give to someone coming off of a detox. Nonetheless, my inner moocher was content).
In entirely unrelated news, after exams are over and done with, I hereby pledge to write long, amusing, Agony Booth-style reviews of the following movies (some of which may end up submitted to Sixwinter): Eragon, Airborne, Ronin, Patriot Games, Man of the Year (aka The Most Schizophrenic Movie Ever), and GoldenEye. And quite possibly more. Those are just off the top of my head. :P

I got the National Merit Scholar thing too! :D Everyone was congratulating me all day which was nice, but also kind of annoying. I almost asked Adam what his score on the PSATs was, but I didn't thing I would have been able to restrain myself from a) punching him right there if his score was higher or b) dancing around him and giggling with malicious glee (more likely, in fact, since you can't really get better than 99th percentile. OH WHAT NOW, ADAM? WHAT NOW?).
...My rivalry has increased since he began displaying interest in Williams. *death glare*
On an unrelated note, I am looking forward to those movie reviews. :D (psst do Eragon first xD)
