Okay. Hitcher recap coming...soon. Well, soon-ish, once I get around to finishing it. The recap, I mean - seen the movie twice already. xD And I have to watch the deleted scenes and alternate ending, yay. Full of the stuff that was too gory for theaters. Barrie prom was great. I really, really want to go there for reals, but the commute is a bit much. They had virtual bowling at the after-prom and I got to chat with their principal about the finer points of playing PC first-person shooters. xD It was rad. I'll have pics up soon.
Anyway, life's been all right for the past few days. AP Lang exam is DONE, which means no more AP for a while. Yay. In Lang, we ordered a pizza and watched episodes of The Simpsons, so sucks to be everyone who cut class. xP
Going to Rehoboth Beach (the only thing Delaware has that's keeping it from immediate destruction once the planet is mine) on Friday afternoon (literally right out of school) for a funeral. It's not 'til Saturday, but the dumb hotels only do two-day-or-more stays. So we're stuck there for two and a half days, and the weather is going to suck...and no internets. D< Rawr. Probably a good thing Alec's introduction got bumped back to Monday. (And I have made it clear that we are not allowed to pick up hitchhikers, even -- especially -- if they're Sean Bean.)
I have an odd obsession with killing my characters off today. |

Barrie prom? I feel depressingly out of the loop. I'm having serious angst about not having either you or Allaire at school anymore. Especially since Jill is all of a sudden best buds with Hannah Boning and is also on a major boyfriend binge (now with Seth- FTW?!? O_o). OH WOES, I AM BEREFT. *insert emo here*
But Rehoboth! :D That sounds awesome! Except for the crumby weather and the funeral thing and the lack of internets... But still. Rehoboth. x3
I'm spending my memorial day weekend at the wedding of some cousin of my Dad's or something. Yargh. Dx No parade or funnel cake. Or internet either.

Ha, you think you're bad about killing of characters? I just read Tolkien's "Children of Hurin," which I can sum up in three points: Almost everyone dies. Incest. Everyone else dies.
What the eff. By my tally, only three - out of a list of even remotely important characters about ten pages long - survive. It was almost comical. xD
Also it's starting to get on my nerves how I can't think of proper transitions to reply to different parts of your posts. I sound schizophrenic. :P
Ooh! I have to read that. Sounds, er, fun? xD And I miss you tooooooooo. But at least Allaire returns soon.
We should get together at some point soon. Ish. Waaaa I miss stuff. D:

Actually, it was very good. I really enjoyed it. I was kind of afraid that it would be mind-numbingly dull, since Tolkien is rather an... acquired taste. But it was very EPIC. xD Not much detail, but sort of a cross between something Hemingway and The Odyssey. The best part, though, was the language. God, I wish people still talked like that. I think the world would be a much better place if they did.
And yes. Get together soon. Like, weekend next? PAR-TAY before exams (No, you are not allowed to study. By decree of me.)? xD
