Hi, livejournal. I love you, srsly. I just...I've been too busy to do much...posting...
OH GOD I'M SORRY I ABANDONED YOU. *sob*
Right. I'm done being a complete and total spaz. But not really. So! Life.
Summer break's been cool so far. I got As on all my finals (which means that Ms. Chyen is incompetent). Of course, mum's been pressuring me to get a job or something. Yeah. Lovely. Except for the fact that I'm too young to work almost anywhere. And I'm feeling pressured to get into an Ivy League school, never mind the fact that I won't be able to stand out from all the other chumps applying to the Ivies next year unless I pull off a really kickass, sarcastic essay (which I'm already drafting in my head).
Oh. And Lady Marmelade just started spontaneously bleeding behind her right eye this morning (it's contained in the eye) and apparently she's bleeding behind the left one, too. So she's in the hospital right now, because, also, her blood won't clot properly, and she may have to lose one or both eyes due to the pressure and such. Hello, possibly-blind cat. Goodbye, one thousand dollars. (Srsly. Veterinary care is fucking expensive.) When are we going to get some socialized medicine up in this joint?
We don't get any info on her until tomorrow...so wish her luck.
I haven't been able to RP much anywhere due to general chaos, except for Valcentica, but that requires next to no effort, as Kitty is basically an extension of myself and Valcentica!Alec is...well, he's just insane. APOLOGIES ALL. D: |
