I got to chill out with Meredyth (![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) lyriael) two Saturdays ago, and we went to go see National Treasure 2 at the AMC Courthouse. Yes, it is still playing in some places. I know.
Anyway, since I was watching it with Meredyth, what did we do but talk during the movie? It was like the Satellite of Love up in there, or that one time we saw Revenge of the Sith when there were only two other people in the whole theatre. This showing had a decent turnout, though. Didn't stop us from snarking at it.
Of course we pointed out plot holes. What else do we do in life? We point out plot holes and mock poorly-researched stuff. And it's a load of fun. Okay, there were some good parts. Really. Especially the part where Ben pretends to be drunk in Buckingham Palace and mocks British people to some bobbies (seriously), the car chase in DC (seriously), and Riley's obvious little man-crush on Ben (seriously. And yes, that is the scientific term).
And then we stayed up until four in the morning watching Hot Fuzz. Life is good.
Blah blah blah, not much, blah blah blah.
I was sooo sick on Tuesday. After my presentation in first period I hailed a cab and went home. Yesterday there was a two-hour delay, and when we got to school, the power was out, so they had to send us home. Much lulz.
Today, though...aaaah, I liked today. When I walked in and went to the Black Box, Markoff greeted me with a fuzzy black teddy bear/cat thing and a box o' choc-o-lates. Later in the day, Rachel bestowed a chocolate rose upon me, and Sara gave me a flower. Then Markoff and I skipped out on lunch to Subway for foods, and he treated. I love my Jew-boy. DBQ in Euro and quiz in Trig (that I missed on Tuesday), not so much.
I also made a hoodie for my resincreature out of an old pair of mom's socks. I have no life. x3 |
