Thing is, I got my answers from five out of the six colleges I applied to yesterday. Four denials and a wait-list.

Who are you still waiting to hear from? Wherever it is you'll probably get accepted. All these colleges communicate and do trades and junk.

Life is so random and unfair. x(

I will go to some awesome school and end up being miserable because IB burned away every vestige of my desire to learn. I will suffer through graduate school and get a Ph.D. in something stupid that no one has ever heard of and spend the rest of my life as a boring, lonely academic with no social life.
You will spend a few years doing something fantastic like traveling to strange exotic places and then when you come back every college will want you because of your super life experiences and you will get some cool, high-paying job and be popular and rich and famous. And you will have a pet monkey. And be a best-selling author.

:( I'm sorry. But, like the others, I have to say that you should not give up hope. It sounds cliche, but 'tis the truth. You seem well-spoken and certainly smart enough that there's gonna be a school that says that you are the ONE.

Out of curiosity, where did you apply?

All the overachiever schools I am now too embarassed to name. And George Mason University, which is the one I haven't heard back from yet.
